IASP 2008 Johannesburg Call for Papers: Excellent response

Following the excellent response to the Call for Papers the IASP Director-General met with the members of the Evaluators Panel and Steering Committee in South Africa in December 2007 to finalise the provisional selection of the abstracts. All the authors were notified by the IASP of the outcome of this first phase of the peer review and evaluation process.

The remaining deadlines for the Call for Papers are:

  • Submission of full paper - Friday 14 March 2008 - Guidelines
    NB this only applies to authors who were notified by the IASP that their abstract has been provisionally accepted pending final evaluation after receipt of the full paper.
    Authors are reminded that:
    • approval of the full paper can either be for oral presentation and publication in the proceedings or for publication in the Conference Proceedings only. Should the paper be approved, the Steering Committee may also decide to include it in a session different to the one initially indicated, according to the needs of the Conference Programme.
    • Full Papers and correspondence relating thereto must only be eMailed to iasp2008papers@iasp.ws
