- IASP 2008 Johannesburg Call for Papers: Excellent results!

142 abstracts, coming from 44 countries, have been submitted for our next World Conference on Science and Technology Parks to be held on September 14th – 17th in Johannesburg, South Africa. The IASP wishes to thank all authors and co-authors for their effort and interest in this year’s conference.

Daily live video, voice streaming, and hourly GPS (Global Positioning System) plotting through satellite connectivity has been made possible, for quadriplegic Bern Goosen's mount Kilimanjaro expedition in October 2007, by resident companies on The Innovation Hub precinct.
- The true essence of a Science Park highlighted at the 24th IASP World Conference 2007
31 July 2007 - 65 countries were represented by the 785 registered participants at the 24th World Conference of the International Association of Science Parks (IASP), held from 1 to 4 July 2007 in Barcelona. According to Dr Neville Comins, CEO of The Innovation Hub - the only fully accredited Science Park in South Africa - the conference was by far the largest to date.

- Hub signs cooperation agreement with Science Park in Finland
May 2006 - The Innovation Hub has signed a sister-park cooperation agreement with Technopolis Plc, a leading Science Park in Finland, during May this year.

- Hub succeeds in bid to bring 2008 IASP World Conference to Gauteng
October 2005 - Certainly the most exciting part for Dr Neville Comins, Hub CEO, of attending the XXII World Conference of the IASP in Beijing this year, was the presentation of a bid for the 2008 IASP 25th World Conference to be held in Gauteng to the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
