NB If selecting the pre-conference tour, we recommend that you arrive in Cape Town on
11 September to start the tour on 12 September. We also recommend that you book an early afternoon flight to Johannesburg from Cape Town so that arrive in Sandtom in time for the Conference Welcome event!
If you select a post-conference tour you can depart from Johannesburg to Cape Town on an early morning flight on Thursday 18 September - the Johannesburg-Cape Town flight is about 2 hours.

We embark on a fully guided tour to South Africa's famous World Heritage Site, Robben Island, where you'll not only walk in the footsteps of Nelson Mandela, but also tour the island's rich fauna and flora treasures, visit the lime quarry, and the and see the village of the former warders.

Departure from The Cape Milner after breakfast and embark on a breathtaking journey through the winelands of the Cape. Witness the wine making process from the vineyard to the bottle and visit the historical towns of Stellenbosch, Paarl, and Franschhoek. We'll tour the wine cellars, and enjoy cheese and wine tasting at a Franschhoek vineyard.

Departure from Le Franschhoek after breakfast for Cape Town. If you have an early breakfast you will have time to enjoy a spa treatment [own cost] before we depart for Cape Town!

NB - all the pre- and post-Conference tours bookings have a cut-off date of Friday 11 July 2008 - similar to the cut-off date of the hotel block-bookings. Your bookings and payments for the tours must therefore be made prior to that date. Do not be concerned about indicating additional choices of tours on the Enrolment Form as there only needs to be a minimum of two participants enrolled for a tour in order for it take place. Advance notification will be sent to you should your selected tour not be able to take place.
Note: For your convenience, it is recommended that arrangements for accommodation and airport shuttles for the Garden Route and Wine Route Tours be made via the Conference tour operators, Bono Tours and Safaris - enquiries/requests can be directed to info@bonosafaris.com.
If you make your own accommodation arrangements, please notify Bono Tours and Safaris via email of the Cape Town hotel that you will need to be collected from.
